black leather
« on: July 27, 2010, 08:43:13 am »
Is anyone interested in some black leather to do a sonus faber look(;))?
I can only get a whole hide, which is about 3m^2, but enough for 4-6 front baffles. Goes for around R600-800 for the whole hide. Works out to about R300/m^2. The skins are near flawless, very little marks if any. These are rough estimates, but if there's interest, I'll hassle the people some more to get exact pricing.
Otherwise, if anyone knows of a place in the western cape which sells leather by the square meter, let me know please.

Hi Stefan,

I will take a square meter if you are going to buy it.  Will you be able to ship to JHB?

Thanks,
Ian.

Hi

Not sure about by the meter, but a company called "African Game Skins" also sell whole skins. Perhaps compare prices.

You try Woodheads?
