my 2 year old also discovered the center of the speaker has a cone that can be pushed. :-(
I think for now, the covers need to go on, even if they tend to muffle the sound a little. Rather that than permanent damage

Ok so just picked up my RCA's and Bananas- very good quality and for the price a steal. i have some Kimber cable begging for some work tonight
