I just ordered 8 of these for my surrounds, I have to unwire them every day the made comes - its currently bare wire, so these should simplify the task.

*I meant maid.

The surrounds are on speaker stands, and although they hold the speakers quite well - I'd prefer not to take the chance of them being knocked off.... busy preparing a room at the moment where they will be mounted on the wall - so problem solved.

Looking at the dates in earlier posts, the room will be ready before these arrive  :P

Nothing like being safe... especially reading the other 'maid' (Ousie of destruction) thread on this forum - http://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,3577.0.html
Would drive me nuts though unwiring and rewiring once a week...

Ours comes twice a week - so it is a bit annoying - Ousie of destruction would be dead in my house  :-X

Talking about that thread, my son decided to pop in the coil caps on my speakers (both of them). When I asked him why he did it, he told me it was an accident ::) I had one of those moments where you experience tremendous amounts of internal conflict...

-I believe you there Gert. Our kids make life very interesting. I found bread and all sorts of paraphenalia in our video machine back in the day. The kids thought is was a place to hide their stuff in. And its no use getting upset, cause we did the same to our parents!!
