Speaker connectors
« on: July 25, 2010, 06:43:48 pm »
Just ordered some plugs from http://www.nakamichiplug.com

Look like decent quality and at sub R100 for 14 plugs not a bad deal.

Those are pretty awesome! Just ordered some 10mm RCA's - terminating a 10mm cable and mot buying WBT is difficult. Quality looks good.

Wow, is that pricing for real?!

EDIT: Just purchased some speaker binding posts just to check it out. Let's see if this is for real or not. Already, the tracking option fails...

These plugs do look quite nice and they are cheap.
I am however quite sure they are general chinese items and someone figured that seeing as NAK is defunct, nobody is gonna littigate for sticking the name on some plugs.

One will have to wait and see what they sound like and how much flux and heat they need for solder to stick. (Not saying it will be a problem but I have had issues with some cheap swell looking plugs)

If they turn out to be as good as it looks thye are a bargain.

let us know what you think of the quality.

If you like them, I'd love to know. Buying canare locking banana's cost like $5.5 each.

Hmmm, my progress seems to still show "Waitting Packing" and they've not replied to 2 emails I sent and my order was confirmed almost a week ago. Anyone else gave this a bash and have different results? It's not a lot of money, but I'd still like Paypal to reverse it if this is a sharlatain.

Eish. Thank goodness I placed a small order to begin with. I was going to stock up, and then I thought, naah, let's just get what I need right now.

The fact that the webpage is not loading does not inspire confidence.

Heh, I hear you. It happened to me as well yesterday at home. It's fine from the office. I also just placed a small order to check it out (<R200), glad I kept it small though, hehe.
