I suppose that it does tell that "digital" format music, be it through a lossy mp3 on an ipod or a FLAC through a network player, still rules the roost at a total of 25 votes.

I can't help but wonder whether digital would have a much larger uptake if we'd had decent broadband for the past 6-7 years.  The notion of playing a CD is quite foreign to me these days.  Probably the last 100 or so CDs I've purchased have never seen the inside of a traditional CD Transport.

Actually the spread is people being able to pick just 1 vote in the digital section, I listen to MP3s and FLACS on the PC and a network player. Voted for PC and lossy since that's probably what I listen to the most.

I'd love to to take a listen to my NAD C542 again. Just don't have the space in the rack at the moment. The Apple TV with AIFF format is sounding pretty good though.
