and if someone could please explain why it is we're unable to edit/ correct posts?

Because it opens a can of worms if there are any heated discussions - it's to prevent "ninja edits" where people remove statements they made earlier. You have a 2 min edit period which is not reflected on the post timestamp and a 30 min edit period (however the post will reflect that it's been edited). Forums aren't really long-term living documents the way wikis are for instance - I really don't see the need to edit posts after a while.

I totally agree with you. but I no longer have even 2 seconds to edit my posts. and that is a bit irritating.

That's my point, you cannot edit, not even a second later.

Agreed, however, suggest you check the forum's settings, there's currently no editing, not even a second later.

Any one know of a place where I can buy digital music in flac format?
I would like to get my hands on "the wall" in Flac Format.
With the robbery, most of my dvd's and cd's that was lying around is now gone.
(Yeah I leanred my lesson now, and put it away when I'm done with it...)

So Where can I buy the wall in digital lossless format?
This will give me a good starting point.

not sure there are any locally nor (m)any carrying mainstream audio in lossless audio at this stage.  You could try https://www.hdtracks.com/, though I think for the moment your best bet is to rip from CDs.

Re edit: I have often made mistakes seeing Engrish is only my seccond tale. I now use "Preview" to check that.

Rip or bitTorrent (not recommended). HDTracks won't have it, besides, AFAIK they only sell to US citizens.

Interestingly, traditional sources (CD + Vinyl) usage accounts for 55% of voters and of those that use digital audio, only 32% use a lossy source.  I'm a little surprised by that traditional sources still comprise the majority, but perhaps that's because I've been doing digital audio since the early days of ripping CDs, long before network music players existed.
