Fyi - I did not buy them , sold to someone else while I was waiting for the banking details to do the transfer.

Hi Gentlemen,

I purchased the speakers from Simphiwe - communicated with him via email.

I understand there is some controversy and unhappy customers because of this.  Now, I don't have any specific use for these - I simply wanted a pair of shop-bought speakers to use for comparison to the speakers I build at a reasonable price.  Life is too short to fight about hifi equipment.

In order to resolve any issues there may be I am willing to let them go at the same price I purchased them for.  I have had numerous dealings with Simphiwe, and he is a gentleman.  I am sure he never intended for this to become an issue.

If any of the affected parties are so inclined, please feel free to contact me via PM and we can get this matter resolved.

First off I would like to tip my hat to both JimGore and Simphiwe, although I was really upset when Simphiwe sold the speakers to JimGore after I allready told Simphiwe that I am definitely taking them, they both seem to be true gentlemen about this situation.

I know I have a low post count on this forum, but I have been following every single topic for the last year, and have already met a few of the members here personally. 

I did send Simphiwe a PM as I was very disappointed when he replied that he sold the speakers after I requested for his banking details to do the transfer.  I prefer purchasing second AV equipment form this forums classified section from members with high post counts than Gumtree.

I would just like to apologise to Simphiwe  for the PM, it is his speakers and he can chose whom he wants to sell them to, rather someone like JimGore with a very high reputation than  a phantom member who only pops up every now and then.

Simphiwe made me an alternative offer which hopefully I can take him up on that excludes JimGores` Polk Speakers, so from my side I see this issue as happily resolved.

If i'd gotten as much of a runaround as Simphiwe's has for these components, I'd also sell to the first person to plonk down the cash, no matter who is in line where...
