When I was a teenager my neigbour would neighbour would regularly buy LPs, and I would always mosey on over there when his system was blasting away. He used to use anti-static spray on his records, and they were alway dust-free. He would spray some on the record and a bit on the (velvet-type) brush, then give it a whipe/brush before putting back into the sleeve.
