I owned the HD202's for years and would buy them again if i was in the same position i was in years back. In my opinion they are best bang for the buck. If you are really straped for cash and want something to wear listening from the PC the whole day without fatigue try the Philips SHP2000 cost R120.00 at hi-fi corp. You wear them and forget about them.

I have a set of the Philips headphones. Picked them up at CNA for R99.00. They are good for that price and very comfortable too 8).

Fiinnnaaallyyyyyy!!!!!Headphones came today,and all i can say is  ;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D

Awesome awesome sound quality (might be because I haven't been exposed to anything more extravagant),but hell. These things rock! Crisp DEEP bass response, perfect for my trance music :-)

Anyone considering budget headphones (mine was R400),shortlist asap.

They are awesome little units - i listen to drum'n'bass & dubstep and the 202's are mind blowing

The vintage 424's were awesome but just love the 202's

archimarc - now plug your 202's into PC and sit back and appreciate how awesome dubstep is and how ridiculous the hd202's are

Compare music to drinks. Some is like a strong brandy. Some is like a fine wine. The music you're playing sounds like Diet Coke - Pavarotti
