I haven't got the movie so I can't check but my missus reckons there's a huge hi-fi system right at the end of the Italian Job (remake)
Maybe someone with the movie can have a look for me!

Found this on Audiogon...

"We never see them, but in the Italian Job, the first thing one of the guys is going to buy with his share of the money, is "the big Martin-Logans, so he can turn them up loud & blow the girls clothes off."

In the TV series Chuck they have a cinema room setup at the Buy More with equipment to die for.

Need to watch it again but I saw some Martin Logans etc etc on the show.

Hank Moody in Californication also has a nice stereo setup in his apartment. Anyone identify any of the components there?

In Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson - they put on a turntable, why not a CD player considering the time the movie is set in?

Was watching Edge of Darkness

Both Mel Gibson's character and his daughter both had turntables - you caught a glimpse of his daughters Turntable

I thought it was an older Stanton with a Pickering on - could be wrong...

Compare music to drinks. Some is like a strong brandy. Some is like a fine wine. The music you're playing sounds like Diet Coke - Pavarotti

-now if you talking hair on the back of the neck raising stuff..then watch Equilibrium, when Preston (Christian Bale) listens to Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th Symphony, First Movement that he accidentally activates on the Victrola.
