Hi everyone,

I've upgraded the forum to SMF 1.1.1, and soon we will have a small portal as the front page with news and other information rather than the current board index (the forums will remain in the background of course). There is a new feature which allows you to list your equipment in your profile, thus interested fellow members can see it - to access it, simply click on Profile at the top and then follow the Forum Profile Information link

Yup, Kay, it really looks pretty snazzi!! And I can log in without problems!! Woohoo!!!

How about some of the cool emoticons we had on the old forums?

I'll explore adding some additional emoticons, I'd forgotten about that! You'll see the migrated posts from the old forum display with some funny placeholders where the old emoticons are missing

Coolness! Especially the editing tools... Am I hallucinating or does it browse quicker too?

Any speed-ups would be coming from the code, as we're still on the same host and database. I haven't noticed much difference but there very well might be.
