Feature suggestion

I thought it would be good if AVSA can feature (even in parts) everything that should be considered with streaming audio / video and the suggested components in the different price bands.

And the same with designing multiroom systems, and how to plan and start a project through steps (as and when money is available)

Is this possible?

That is a really cool idea. Especially with the adoption of HT in most homes and with Uncapped internet finally making it feasable to start streaming video to your TV.

It's not impossible at all, I've even found the site that does it. Check out the Options of TV over internet thread under the AV Technology discussion board.

I fully support this idea too!

What another magazine did (that I used to follow quite a while ago) was find someone who was doing a whole crazy install themself from start to finish (Speed and Sound mag - car sound) and document each step on a monthly basis. The person doing it all still paid the bucks he would have for the various compponents and did the work himself, he had a shop so got some PR from the features every month and still got to do what he enjoys doing everyday! Might be an option.....

We'll definitely look into it, just got to get the June/July issues out the way so that I can go overseas!

I am now concerned about the August & September issues coming out, you could be stranded there for months if that volcano continues blowing its top... ;)
