2nd month in a row (3rd time this year) I am seeing the AVSA (May 2010) on the shelves and nothing at the post office.  It is not Just AVSA as I made the mistake to subscribe to Winemag, Getaway, Womans Health (Before the awake guy chirp... it is for the wife :) ) and I receive about 50% of the magazines... I do not know what to say.. the problem is at the post office, no question about this.

I wish the aforementioned "GPO d**s" types would develop a fetish for the useless and annoying pamphlets which get crammed in our P.O. boxes, and let the legit mail through including subs...

Lol, that's why you don't get the mail you want - they shove so much rubbish in that there is no space for the genuine post...

At last, got one in the post.  Missed 2 then get one... I think it must be someone on duty at the post office as my wife also gets her's now.

Don't think for one minute that a proper rented postbox is any better. I had one for a year. Box 226. I ended up getting mail addressed to 266, 626, 662, 262 and every so often 226  :o. This of course implies that the owners of the other boxes sometimes get my mail.  >:(

Complaint sent. Response: "Sir, we're sorry, we know about the problem. They send us these youngsters from <xyz> and they can't all read properly". I kid you not. I have since given up said PO box, zero advantages above street delivery. I buy all my magazines.
Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng.
