If I may ask, how do you ship from the US to SA? not direct from the supplier right? do you use a freight forwarder like MyUS? I find them the cheapest by a long shot.

Man, R8k for the 2.5 is a bit steep for me right now! How much would the crossover set one back, rough guestimate?
Also in a tight spot, need to buy a new car(that can wait ), but also have to go to france for a few months.

I am dealing direct with Scan in Denmark, i will never buy from the stats, they are the biggest rip off on the plannet I have an account with Scan Speak and get 40% discount that i am willing to give to you diy guys. You will not get better pricing anywhere

The crossover parts for the standard 2way will cost you about $200 from Madisound, excluding shipping, customs, and VAT.

There is 120uF worth of caps in the tweeter circuit alone which is accounting for much of the price.

Yeah, while it is an excellent price, I am already swamped with speaker projects. I already committed to a few speakers, and effectively used this and next months budget. But I am seriously interested. If we can plan to order these drivers only in July 2010, I at least will have a larger budget, and would be able to take a few of each, else I will only take one set for the 2 way now. Hope you guys are in no hurry, and we rather wait and get more people in this buy.

I am going to order 20 of each for my own business and can order an extra 10 for you and get the next price break. this should knock off a couple of hundred Rand off each driver. I need to order in the next two weeks. Can i get some commitment from at least 5 people to make this possible. I will work with the remaining units.
