Philips BDP3000 Blue Ray

I finally caved in and bought a blue ray player. Firstly its the cheapest on the market at R2200 and secondly there was an easy hack on the net to make the dvd portion region free. I must say i was quite surprised that the player was region free out the box for dvd so didint have to use the remote hack. Cant test the blue ray region aspect as i dont have have any non region free discs. The picture isnt too bad at first look , but will need some more time getting used to the player.
