B&W 801 Matrix SIII For sale

Immaculate condition. Black ash colour. All original accessories, boxes, manuals, test graphs etc. Spiked stands included. R21 000. Tel Rudi 084 317 1586 (jhb)

Price dropped. R20 000. These speakers are in an absolutely immaculate condition, you will never find another pair as clean as these. The stands included are modelled on the Sound Anchors and make an incredible difference to the bass control.

For comparison there is a set of demo 805S speakers at a hi-fi shoppe in Irene Village Mall for R19000 (and the one tweeter is poked in!!)

I just looked at the equipment list in your profile, and am just wondering if these are not better than any of the other B&W fronts you own?
Why not keep them? they're in such a nice condition. And to think that you might have to pay in on lesser quality speakers if you trade them in....  ???  :(

They are miles better than the other speakers, however I have upgraded to a pair of 802D's. After a week with the new speakers, im not so convinced it was an upgrade. Now the 801's dont fit in anymore as im also using a HTM1D. They really are fantastic speakers, there is not much that can touch these babies even at twice the price. Will be sad to see them going.

Right, i will now as a final option make these open to realistic offers as i would still prefer to sell rather than trade in these speakers. This way buyer and seller can benefit in some way.
