Found the guide very helpful in sourcing some equipment I was looking for.

However, one class of item that I need to acquire in the next few months that would have been REALLY helpful if it had a category in your guide is surround sound bars. Maybe you could add those to the list? It's a difficult item to research and having a list of possibilities with prices would have made my life so much easier.

Yes, we've noticed a growth in that sort of loudspeaker, so it's quite possible that there will be a new category come the 2011 Guide. As a matter of interest, what aspects are you looking at when doing your research - would give me advance info when working on what specs we need to include in that category.

Well, I research the heck out of most things before I buy them. So most important for me is to know what items are available in the sub class of the category I am looking for. Second is budget. Note here, Your stereo speaker listing was so long that it became a meaningless list of numbers. I suggest that when that happens, you break those lists down by adding a further category sub class. My suggestion? Price. Budget is where it's at unfortunately.

What happened for me was this: I'm looking for a new pair of speaker stands and power cables. I perused the buyers guide, found a list of items that suited my budget and looked the items up on the internet. I then contacted the local distributors of the products who have given me some more product details and some dealer information allowing me to make an informed decision on the purchase of said items. So now i'm looking at buying some stuff that last week I didn't even know existed, despite endless googling.

Well done you guys.
