The Oppo BDP-83 Blu-Ray player

Hi folks,

I see that the latest episode of the HDTV and Home Theater podcast (htguys.com) just downloaded where Ara and Braden are reviewing the Oppo BDP-83 Blu Ray player.  From what I've heard, their upcoverting DVD player is awesome and really stands out from the crowd when it comes to upscaling DVD content to HD (720p or 1080p).  I can only imagine, that their Blu Ray player is going to rock!

Does anybody know if we can get any Oppo gear in SA?  Does anybody own any Oppo DVD players?  What do you think?  It seems that if I want this Blu Ray player, I'd have to import it.
