OK, I am a absolute car freak. So this morning I almost died listening to my GF's bicycle sliding down my car with the metal pedal digging large chunks of beautiful black metallic point out of the body work.

What can I do to get this fixed? Panelbeaters? Might be pricey - should I ask my insurance company? Should I try buff it out myself? etc?
