After getting rid of a 15" Tannoy sub and stumbling through life for an epoch, losing out on a great deal... anotherone came up. This is the B&W ASW800 which is a 12" (Kevlar, paper) 1000W 37kg sexy unit. After putting it in (she was not happy initially) and some tweaking.. and now.... WOW!, the control is much better and the effect is much better compared to the 15" Tannoy. Watching 'YES Man' last night the sudden shots from skeet shooting made everyone jump...Gun shots sounds like it should... short bursts and not boomy. Absolutely a winner and a bargain at the price I paid.
