Welcome.
Mmmmmm, the collarbone, seems to be a very common cycling related injury.

I needed a new TV since I moved in my new place. Saw this Sony 40EX400 at Makro this weekend at a decent price so I got this.

It still needs to be calibrated but it looks very good playing Blu Rays.

I havnt set up the rest of my HT system as yet. Using the Philips DVD mini hifi for audio ( speakers behind the tv now as the TV stand is too small now. My Denon Blu Ray player is connected directly to the LCD via HDMI.

Sorry for the poor quality cellphone camera pics.

Forgiven this time ;)

Sweet LCD, I have a similar Sony, never looked back after my decision to get it.

Nice. If you wallmount the LCD you'll have plenty of space on the stand for the speakers and eventually the center channel when you get a surround setup.

You can get pretty good wall mount bracket kits from Hifi Corp for something stupid like R200 or R300

I have a complete HT system. Just havnt moved it to my new place as yet. Going to be using a pair of 685s for fronts, HTM62 centre, pair of 686s for rears just arrived yesterday  ;D and a ASW600 subwoofer. My 684s and dual Velodyne Impact 10s will be in my dad's custody until I get a bigger place.

I will be getting a custom AV stand built soon as this one is a cheapie from Game that my SO had.

Let me post the current stereo setup in the bedroom. Nothing really special Sharing a house, so I'm not going to put these down in the lounge to get abused by the others. Working on some simple WT 6.5" towers for the lounge. Will post pics of the build when I eventually get to it. Sitting with a broken collar bone.... It tends to slow a lot of things down...

Seas Drivers from the 70's in 30L Sealed Cabinets. (can't remember driver model nr's, x-overs are oem still)
Denon PMA-525R
Sansui TU-X301 (Scratched out of the garage after this pic was taken)
Klotz 4mm Speaker Cable
Cheapy Interconnects
ESI Maya 44 USB Soundcard
1x Strong PC

Just found the kit brochure again for the 10" vintage Seas'. Its the 'Kit 302' with all the original parts inside. Cabs size was adjusted to fit into a previous wall unit though. Still sitting on 30L though. And its the earlier Alnico magnet driver models.
Sounds really nice for their age. The drivers sat around doing nothing for probably 15 years when I got them.
