Finally arrived and thanks to Alleycat for helping to uncrate them.
It was a frustrating few hours trying to figure out how the French do wifi but finally managed to get the Devialet Air wifi protocol sorted.
Speakers are brand new and Devialet is brand new but still the first few notes and the tears were rolling, so I foresee lots and lots of salt water that will well in my eyes.

Very nice indeed Eddie, sure its sounds good as well. Very much my idea of simplicity and good looking as well.

Just a quick question or suggestion:Should not consider the amp on top shelve? I would think that the heat build up above those 211/845's can be quite something based on my experience.

Enjoy

Thank you Stefan!

Yes, the valves get very hot, but there is a very good airflow across the amp. Also around 250mm of space and lastly, the cd player is a top loader and I prefer not to constantly bent my knees to place a cd into the tray..

Sound is sublime. It has the deepest soundstage I have heard. Although my speakers stand over 2m into the room, I have had similar setups with different speakers that could not create such a deep soundstage. The speakers also have the ability to "cut" the instruments like no other speaker I have heard.

After hearing and owning very numerous setups, I believe the only way I can get closer to the type of sound I enjoy, will be a Horn Trio..which I cannot afford , so this is as good as it gets for me.. :)

I am very happy with this setup.

Come Ghostinthemachine don't be so vague, I heard the set-up only halfway into the project and even then you knew you were listening to something special, details PLEASE...
