Hey guys,
Got myself some Wharfedale DFS 18 bipoles, not audiophile grade speakers, i know, but well suitable for what I have in mind for them, and I got them for a very decent price. Reason I got them for a good price is, they were demo speakers. And because they were demo's, they are looking a bit run down. The fabric actually looks a bit moth eaten :-\ here and there, and I want to fix it up.
How can I do that? Can I just pull another layer of fabric over? do i need cut the first layer off? The grills on these don't come off, making it a bit harder. Where can I find black speaker fabric in cape town, or what can I use instead? does anyone have a link showing a proper way of fixing the edges?
Help a brother out?
