Confirmed... received my AVSA mag through postal services...
However an article that was sent on the 21st August through speedservices has not arrived yet (2nd Sep), I think that the tipping point of this country is closer than we anticipate.

My car license seems to have gotten lost in the whole strike process. This after the first cheque I sent was "Lost" on the way to the relevant authorities.

Had to do some fancy talking to be let off a fine after being stopped in a roadblock on Saturday.

Not taking chances with the license for my Healy (which has it's new seats), I'll go to the license office pay them and get a disc right away.

There's a Helkom junction box on a street corner close to my house. I'm guessing the thing serves many telephones around here. It has been repeated vandalised with spraycans and posters. A few days ago, out of desperation I think - a steel cable and a hefty brass lock was put around it. Today, I see both doors are hanging open (in the rain) and the cable and lock gone, of course.

A couple of houses away from here, a bakkie load of domestic rubbish -kitchen stuff, baby things, and other stuff you wouldn't like to touch - was dumped on the pavement almost in someone's driveway on Friday/Saturday night.

Yes, we are far gone on the slippery slope.
