The house I live in has wooden floors. My Hi-Fi equipment is housed in a heavy wooden cabinet that is placed directly onto the wooden floor. When listening to music, I can feel the vibrations through the floor. I assume that these vibrations will be having a negative impact on the sound quality of the system and I am looking for suggestions to improve the situation. Getting rid of the wooden floor and/or the cabinet is not an option
