Just bought an LG 32" full hd lcd tv (was on special).

However, if i plug the xbox into HDMI port 1 or 2 it has a snowy effect (well strange white pixel noise in high contrast areas is a better description) but not when I plug it into HDMI port 3.

Any ideas, is this a RTM issue or a cable issue. Its a ellies R120 1.3b cable (3m length) if that makes a difference.

It sounds like sparklies. If it is then the problem lies either with the cable itself or a loose connection between the cable and the TV.

Update:

An update, looks like its a crap cable problem. I dropped to 1080i instead of 1080p and no more sparklies.

Off course! Particularly if its a K@K R120 HDMI cable
