Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ;)

Looking at some AV Receivers, these don't look so bad :D

My missus and I can't see eye to eye on the look of any audio gear. So, guess what, I just ignore her, hehehehe!!! ;D

Hahaha...

I tried that one...then found all my stuff packed in the cupboard...and knowing how she handles my stuff, I cringed to see the valves skew and the amps still with all the cables on. All she said..."I warned you"...

C'mon... not all of it sucked. Besides, those Yamahas probably look better in the flesh. Some of the earlier WW2-hangover styling I care less about.  But how's this:

I love meters. There's a nice site that shows much vintage equipment, mostly Japanese, I think, that I don't have a link for now. GhostInTheMachine, can you help?

I used to(probably still do ;) ) love this equipment with the big VU meters, although it does not reflect in my current minimalistic approach(though this happened by chance ;D)

That second Technics does look good! I heard it a few years ago paired to a set of 802 matrix's and it really did the job well connected to those speakers...
