Hi Skinny.

I see you live in Durban - pitty, because you can listen to those at Audiotronics in Sandton City (Dynaudio importers).  They are very good (the speakers), but do you know what those things cost - especially for the full HT kit?

Hope you get them for a Christmas present.

Cheers and good luck.

Skinny if you ever get the chance to listen to Sonor speakers, do yourself the favor!

Sonors are made by a guy called Roy Witelson in JHB and apparently he use Dynaudio drivers in his speakers. I have already heard the "cheaper" range, the HT-series and they are truelly impressive! If it was'nt for some snotty salesman and an 8 week waiting period, I might even have bought them instead of my MS speakers!

What sort of prices are we talking about for the "entry" level stuff of theirs?

I've only heard good things about Sonor speakers too. Check out http://www.sonoraudio.com/, under News and Reviews you might get an idea of pricing. Alternatively get the latest Audio Video SA price guide.

They're supposedly awesome, ... , but not necessarily pleasing to the eye if you're that type of person.

I have to warn you though, the speakers they show on their website are not the latest models.

The HT-series looks like any other well bult speaker, well constructed, good finish, etc. The best is still to go and listen to them. The factory is in Cleveland, JHB - 011 453 9034.

The latest prices I have are as follows:

HT-M - R 7 500 per pair
HT-C - R 2750
HT-R - R 2950 per pair

I will try and take a photo of the current models and post that.
