I got the NAD last night, and I'm listening to it this morning. It is in mint condition - thanks for looking after it for me Klyv!
It sounds very honest so far. Nice detailed sound on the Black Crates (my diy speakers). I'll put the MA S1's on later to compare.
It is actually very difficult to comment on the sound of the amp because it is so neutral, it seems to just pass on whatever it gets to the speakers. No flattery, no over-analysing.
Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine is sounding especially sweet now, and Dire Straits' stuff has a nice crisp punch to it.
