I have not replaced the surge protecting large multi adopter from ellies after lightning destroyed my NAD :-(
I hope it still offers some protection.
I have read in another article the bulk of the force will be northern hemisphere. So it should be safe, allthough we will be getting some of the radiation. Perhaps not enough to damage equipment. Just sticking with the positive thoughts :-p

Hmm, I suppose insurance companies would classify this as an 'act of god'?

flair/fle(ə)r/
Noun:
A special or instinctive aptitude or ability for doing something well.
Stylishness and originality.

I don't mind being clever and stylish for an afternoon...

flare/fle(ə)r/
Noun:
A sudden brief burst of bright flame or light.
Verb:
Burn with a sudden intensity: "the blaze across the water flared"

Bursting into flames...not so much! 8) ;D

Homonyms are a bugger. (He-he, I made a homo joke!) ;D

It seems that this flare is a reflection of a small black hole that bounced from Lutuli House to the
Green-ish,black-ish yellow sun and bounced back again without any impact, another couple of black holes will suck this flare in with ease today, or tommorow,
and they also seem to spew out misspent energy all over.It is a cy'clit'ic event, that means the black holes will not close ever.

So reports vary widely...should we run for the panic room, unplug tne hifi or just not complain to DSTV if the broadcast have slight speckles around sunset?
I used to have SUPER POWERS.
But my therapist took them away. :vsad:

I'm still waiting. According to the article above it should have hit around 9 AM EST. That would be 4:00PM our time.

Do you think it is over?
The first watt is the most important, but it does not mean I cannot have 99 other great watts.
