RANT:

Shouldn't chime in with the mood I'm in this mornin' -
but if folks would kindly disregard a loudspeaker frequency spec without db limits given with the utter disgust that it deserves and sommer delete such a make from their preference list for the future .... How sad that we live (have now been doing that for a long time in fact) in times where spec-writers regard many of us as fools.

Trying to make up: A prosperous 2012 with informed equipment decisions wished to all reading here.

No problem with the rant. My problem is that it sounded as if it did not have 'enough' bass until I added the sub nevermind what the spec said.
I see there was a huge hoohaa about the bass of the Thor on diyaudio bb that uses the same drivers.
Even though the bass is much better I feel it is wrong to use the Yamaha with these otherwise excellent speakers.
Eish that picture is actually crappy.
