Picture started jumping again just now so I went out the back to see what's going on.
I was mistaken about the line of sight. My dish points directly towards my neighbours palm trees. The nearest one has a frond about 2m away from the dish. The wind is blowing a bit too. Could that be the problem?
Secondly, the grey bit at the end of the dish appears to be pointing down towards the ground. Is that right? Surely that should be pointing skywards? Its too dark to take a decent pic but I will take one in the am.

From my experience i have had issues due to trees being directly in front and in close proximity to the dish. Other time it was a faulty LNB.

Your LNB should be tight and not able to move. Position wise should look like the pic.

Yep, mine looks the same. The LNB points down towards a 4/5pm position. I will ask my neighbour if I can trim the palm fronds that are hanging over into my property but I fear that the real problem is that the dish is pointing into the general tree area....

Trimmed the fronds but its still no good. My problem has to be the other palm tree a few more meters away. My LNB points directly at two trees.
Going to call my dish installer and complain as they should have realised that there was going to be a problem when they did the work.

Problem solved. Relocated the dish.
Paid my school fees which I would have had to pay a year ago either way so I'm just glad its done!
