Stick it in a sealed container with rice in the sun. The rice will absorb the moisture. Might be too far gone though.

Will definately give this a try- thank you Mahleu.

I'm thinking of doing a little set of active speakers containing maybe a gainclone power amp. Will a Clip be able to do the front end for that?
I used to have SUPER POWERS.
But my therapist took them away. :vsad:

Yup, used it to test this new chip-amp that is not sorted out, somewhere something is wrong... just buy the pcb's from Rudi... At first I thought it was playing too soft, as they are won't to do into line-level, but it is actually fine, very low output impedance probably the cause.

The gain should be high-ish afaik to get it to sound nice, You could prolly use the clip+ volume control, but I just do a volume control in front of the inputs on the lm3886 and bob's your uncle...

So the Clip doesn't have its own vol control?

The "Clip+" does have it's own volume control...  ;)  the "Clip" is the older one not for sale anymore...

OT: The Clip+ happily takes a 16GB card, in case anyone was wondering. I've just upgraded mine from the 8GB card I was using before.

Yup, that is the max however, luckily the store didn't have a 32gb... and I said, what the heck a 16gb should be fine...

Will definately give this a try- thank you Mahleu.

Here's the story:

Fillled a salt grinder with rice, jammed the i-shuffle in - and sealed top with duct tape.

Placed the salt grinder in direct sunlight for maximal effect. (moving locations rather frequently)

4 days later - decided that the Shuffle had now been through enough agony...

... and it plays perfectly!  :)

Thanks for the advice Mahleu - hugely appreciated!

Great, it probably tastes better too. :D
LF: Cheap but decent interconnects so I can try to hear the difference, or not.

@Chipwelder
If your source already has a vol control, why would you add another one to the power amp?

The amp is for a different purpose, just used the clip to test etc... and the clip+ possibly has a digital volume control, not sure, which means at low volumes SQ suffers, not sure it is an issue...
