Running film at 60Hz is what causes judder, 50Hz and 24Hz are judder free (movies at 50Hz are slightly sped up though). It's due to how a film's 24fps are spread across the various frame rates.
That's why if I can get the projector to save two different aspect ratios for 50hz and 60 hz (to fix the image shifting to the left) I can change between the 50Hz - 60Hz depending on what the content was encoded at. Like windshear said 24Hz wont work  on the projector. Selecting it like that should eliminate most of the judder issues.

So I tried the settings on the projector didn't work accept the 50Hz but there isn't enough adjustment to fill the screen.

So I'm going to take the Blu ray player back and see if they have something better that can force 60Hz.
If that fails i'm stuck with the two player setup until I can afford to buy a OPPO Player.

Ok The Sony also can't do 1080i 60Hz from DVD.
I asked form my money back and bid them fair well for now.

I've decided to get the other projector (Barco 701s HQ) set up first to see which options it has with regards to this issue.

Google porch setting, see if the BArco has enough adjustment. Your limitation at this stage is your HDFury2. I am in the process of abandoning the "dark" side and going over to the light side aka digital. My Moome card could work for you.

Hi

If you want to get rid of the HDFury I'm looking for one. :)
