I have a set of Martin Logan CLS, stripped and refurbished (all cleaned up, frames sanded down and revarnished), waiting for new panels. After pre paid for the panels, Heinz sadly passed away, and Absolute Sound wll not bring them in it seems (the liquidator is very quiet).
I have contacted the Service manager at ML in the US, and new panels are available for around $800. I also have the old panels which worked, with one shutting off intermittently.
I want to recover about R2500 for this stuff. Spend R10k on the panels including shipping and you have a brand new, helluva pair of speakers. I also think that a boffin could get the existing panels to work just fine. They seem to be in good condition.
