Soundtrack is awsum! But what impressed me most was the sound effects, it shakes the house from start to finish!

Watch it on DVD the other day and for sound effects it's brilliant. One of the best movies for surround effects. Hopefully soon I'll be testing the blu-ray.  Stories a bit long winded compared to the other 2 and of course the Americans always have to save the day.

Would you as a South African make an action movie where an American saves the day?

It indeed does shake the room.

Very hard to get stuff to not rattle in an open plan living room and kitchen.

But for a hectic subwoofer scene the best is still the part in inception where leonardo falls in to the bath(early in the movie).

Mmmm I haven't actually seen Inception yet... It's got to be epic to come close to anything in transformers

for subwoofer show-off I use two scenes.

1) inception where he falls into the bath but the whole movie lfe is insane
2) star wars episode one where they have the race

I've gotten into a routine with the demo's:

Start off with the THX Amazing life demo. That gets people wide eyed because practically nobody is familiar with infrasonics.
Let that roll into the beginning of Transformers 2, the opening scene at the pyramid has got amazingly loud deep bass - the stuff dreams are made of.
Then I usually do the Darla tapping scene from finding Nemo - It's a killer.
And lately I finish off with the dogfight scene in Tron.

I love to see people's expressions during these  ;D

Will definitely make a point of watching inception now, haven't seen it because I'm not a Di Caprio fan.

I copied the Amazing Life trailer off the Avatar Blu-ray, it's the only copy I've found with the True-HD sound track. If it's not on that site I can filegooi it to you.

Morne had the polk 660 pro but it is now mine ;)

for me its is the scene in inception where he tells her it is all a dream, then resident evil:after life where she enters the building, and lord of the rings the start scene!
