Hi
Update...
Cirr has taken the "kit". He is very excited! Good luck with your build I hope it turns out well!

I now have one pair of CA18RLY still going begging.
Final price = R1000 for the pair.

Regards
Anthony
I really hope you sell these tonight. I am experiencing serious hoarding issues!  :'(  BTW, buying these from Madisound will end up costing you ALOT more. So please guys, help me out. ;)
I used to have SUPER POWERS.
But my therapist took them away. :vsad:

Done the fronts in 40 minutes, need more MDF for sides and bracing. Very suinig ;)
I have routers for routerbits, I`m very lucky/priviledged that two of my passions collide.

Been doing the one for 15 years, and the other for an hour(DIY Speaker building)  8) ;D

Once you've got a dust extractor you need so much more space. But I'd love one. Will a decent size vacuum cleaner not do the job?

I tried a vacuum before it works but its a bit clumsy at times to change between tools etc
If I get the extractor I can link more than one tool to it at a time.
A small extractor is not that much more than a decent vacuum cleaner any way.

I got a cheapie (electrolux) for R150 from cash converters...

I won't route or saw without it! keeps the garage so much cleaner...

I guess I'll try that. MDF especially is a pain once dustified. No good for my sinusses either and at my level of diy I simply cannot justify a proper extraction machine.

Atjan: A vacuum works it's just that have to deliver  work  before a set deadline. And I only have after hours and weekends to do it in. I some times have to do 4 cabinets in a Saturday morning or weekday evening and use the belt sander, router and orbital sander etc. in rapid secession so a extractor will save me a lot of time and grief.

Absolutely, once doing work professionally, something like this becomes a neccessity rather than a nice to have.

Hello Guys,
Been off for a day or two,
I can get a nice dust exstractor(can someone help with spelling ;D) for R1000-00
from deceased woodworker club member`s wife.Selling at the moment.

In regards to dust machines.
Don`t use vacuum cleaners,I have 3,they can`t cope with any big amount of dust.
Any chinese dust exstractor will work, only the motor sometimes break, replacement motor is around R1000-00.
Try bigger size motors, and not more dustbags, because dustbags can be added later,I have 4 dustbags on my system.
Dustbags are R100-00 from Adendorf, and you make your own holder from 50mm flatbar, welding and hammerite,I`ll help with plans.
2,2kw is the best size,can suck a halfbrick if needed,I did a test ;D
