Mede8er vs Xtreamer
« on: November 10, 2011, 11:43:03 am »
Hi Guys,

have been n big fan of the Mede8er until now. A friend recently told me he has switched to an Xtreamer and that he is very happy.

Has anyone given these two a "head to Head"?  Not talking about putting spec sheets next to each other, but comparing sound/video quality?

Reason I am asking is that the Xtreamer is cheaper, and has some nice practical functions.

i dont know a reply to your query but having compared the specs add me to the list of people who want to know the reply - the xtreamer pro seems to be an interesting item and i would be lying if i said that i did not consider getting rid of my mede8er to upgrade to one of those

I see the OS for the Xtreamer Ultra is open-source and can be downloaded for free and installed on any X86 platform. So you can use any PC you have lying around and get the full Xtreamer experience. Very cool.
