Yes, how about that Linkwitz Orion system. It is widely acclaimed, and a bit unusual in the sense that it is open baffle and active. Should make for interesting reading.

Would you be interested in featuring any DIY efforts? I'm thinking along the lines of a documented design process, construction and final evaluation feature. May require a series of articles.
