@Raees

http://www.avsa.co.za/content3.php?id=260

been there last year and year before that.
last year, the likes of:
Mission/NAD/PSB
Jamo/Parasound
Onkyo/Polk
Thomas Rogoff
Martin Logan/Musical Fidelity/Anthem (In a separate, specialized room)  ... were there.

Went there the last day, and as usual - guys were throwing pretty descent prices around for the closing.

Went to the show last year...it was okay. Got to see some new stuff mainly tv's . Hisense showcased its 3D tv's which took a couple of months before they where available at local retailers( Not sure how they sales are going but the seemed liked nice spec tv's).

its that time of the year for me to upgrade....I will be going this year hoping to score a good price on 5.1 style speakers and a 3d Tv. Cant really say if it will be worth going there but I feel you just never know if you might score a bargain...

Being an Audio Video (66%) Appliance (33%)  ;D ;D :D , i would have expected more audio gear..... but it wasn't that bad - after all, it's not an audio only show... so it's be expected that ul get curtains (which happen to be good room treatments) Lol + loads of other things... which can entertain the wife. :)

Not enough sales (ROI) for allot of retailers at the sound and vision expo. I went to each one and enjoyed it :).

I am still deciding if I should go to the AVA expo.  I will go if Nad/Psb will be there. Do not see it on the brands listed for the show :-\. Will definitely be visiting the Digital Experience show in December at the Coca Cola dome.
