Why so long to approve new members?

An acquintance/colleague of mine has registered on the forums, but after 6 days still has not been approved.

How long does it take to approve a new member?

I still am a moderator for a number of boards, but approvals are done by Administrators ??? and they appear to be a bit slack ::)

We do from time to time miss out on legit requests amongst the flood of spammers.I've been on honeymoon for they last 8 days, so please contact one of the other admins.
