AC/DC is also pretty high on my list of favourite bands. However, after 'Back in Black', I think AC/DC lost that raw edge on their earlier albums and became too commercial for my liking. 'Fly on the Wall' was awful and it was the last AC/DC album that I bought. 'Thunderstruck' is a good example of the attempt to appeal to a mass market and reminds me of the dreadful Glam Rock of the 1980s. I've never been a big fan of Brian Johnson and much prefer the albums with Bon Scott on vocals. If you are an AC/DC fan and enjoy their live albums, nothing compares to 'If You Want Blood'. To my mind, there is no comparison between the live versions of 'Let There be Rock' with Scott and Johnson on vocals.
Feel free to disagree and tell me that I'm talking s**t.

Ps. Talking of live albums, Motorhead's 'No Sleep 'Till Hammersmith' must rank right up there as one of the greatest ever. Motorhead is one of the few bands that appeals to metal fans of all persuasions as well as punks.
