New Kef iQ series

As Greg and I have mentioned in other threads, Kef have an update on the Qseries coming out. They look tantalising, cant wait. My wallet is running away alerady.

I wonder when they will be available locally?

I e-mailed Balanced Audio and KEF a while ago, but got no reponse...  

Also, I wonder if it will affect local proces on the old Q-series speakers... I doubt that we carry enough stock in SA to influence prices...

I doubt it too... too bad, I would not have said no to a pair of "old" Q7's at a good price.

I'll sell you my Q7's when my iQ9's arrive  8-) , if they ever arrive although I'm actually thinking of using the Q7's as my rears . My friend works for Yamaha, which as you know incorporates Balanced audio so I am waiting to hear from him if they are coming to SA.

Hmmm... Skinny, any chance you can find out from your friend why Balanced Audio only bring in black Yamaha components, and not hte silver? Always puzzled me...

I will ask. I can only assume it is because of the relatively low demand for higher end home theatre gear.
