http://www.custom-cable.co.uk/digital-analogue-convertors/musical-fidelity-v-dac-ii-digital-to-analogue-converter-with-asynchrononous-usb.html -- if you're going to order from them, make sure you type VATFREE into the "Discount coupon code" field.  I opted for the ordinary Royal Mail shipping option.

Local custom duty is a bit strange. You could pay up to R800 or nothing. Best to be prepared for the worst-case scenario, IMO.

You are in for a huge surprise! Stereophile praised the M1 very highly and the M1-A adds the asynchronous usb to the mix - give us some feedback when you get it. The little V-Dacs are amazing value already so if the M1 improves on that it will be truly outstanding!

Just brought in the Fostex HP-P1, over the moon, bought it because it's also a headphone amp combined, plus it takes the signal straight from the iPod or iPhone digitally and converts internally, has up to 7 hrs playing time with the Audeze LCD2's before it needs a recharge.

Ideal as I do a lot of travelling and it's good to have decent sound along with you.
