I found an old microscope: rescued it from being used as a doorstopper. It is a Leitz make, and is missing the objective lenses (it has a 4-position turret/nosepiece) and the eyepiece lenses. I'm sure it should be a simple matter to restore it, provided that I can find the missing parts (and at reasonable cost).
I'd be thrilled if anyone could give me some ideas as to where these parts can be sourced.
