The problem with 3D and gaming for me is that games in 3D have to take a performance hit.

The Lg Cinema 3D needs to be viewed at an very unpracticale angle in order to get the full 3D effect. Walk into Dions Wired and you will notice that all the display tvs are in an awkward position?
The Best 3D TV you can buy now is the Samsung 7 series 55" led. That is if you want to spend a fortune on something which will be more affordable in the next 12 months.
However if you want to buy now, go for the Samsung 5 series plasma 51"

I got the Samsung LED D8000 60" (UA60D8000YRXXA) a month ago, and I'm very pleased.  Picture quality is so lifelike it is scary.  Have watched some Blu-Rays in 3D, and LOVED it  :)  Also, the SmartTV is a nice added feature, and have the TV hooked up with a CAT5 to the web.  Got the remote keyboard as well, so now it's another device that I can use to browse the web, listed to Internet radio, check out FB, or whatever.

Been using the 55" 7 series for just over a year now, and it's performance is incredible! It's the most expensive display device I've ever bought, but I have absolutely no regrets. The 8 & 9 series should be even better.
Samsung are now the leaders in display technology, and I recommend their 3D LED TV's without reservations.
