18F452 PIC Programming
« on: August 30, 2011, 11:08:22 pm »
Is there anyone who can help me to program a 18F452 PIC?
I have the Hex file available, but do not have the hardware to do the programming.
It is for use in my pre-amplifier.
Any help will be appreciated.

You can get a PIC development kit from places like Communica and other electronics stores.

It comes with the board, and interface software, etc.  Not too expensive either.

Ian.

Communica is your best friend. Also check out RS Electronics who are based in Midrand and have a decent online store. A PIC programmer shouldn't cost you too much.

Thanks for the advice. I saw the ones at RS, but I'm only going to use it once.
It's not worth purchasing the kit for 1 Pic.

I was hoping someone would be able to help me out on this one.....

I may have a PIC18F452 in my cupboard. If I find one, send me the HEX file and I'll program the uC and post it to you. You'll have to cover the postage costs but it shouldn't be much.

The only catch is that my programmer is in DBN and Im only going down in 3 weeks time.

PM me if you're interested.

It seems I spoke too soon. My PIC programmer is no where to be found. I also only have PIC32s left.

Sorry Bravick. I'm sure someone else can assist you?
