Going to make these in little boxes and join them in the end, Finally got a chance to use my nail gun for it's intended purpose and not to shoot at empty cans ( you know you want to :) )

I'll be filling the kerfs with body filler, the high edges on the curve I'll sand down with a adjustable body file

Sjoe I had to dig for this one

1'st baffle in , lots of glue and nails.

Second baffle with the edges machined, hard to see but it will stand out better once the leather goes on

And the Veneer, I'm quietly nervous about this one, have done loads of test pieces and all came out great, just done want to f'k it up so late in the game

That looks fantastic!
How do you clamp the veneer down on the curve? Also, what glue are you using? And lastly, could you explain how you do the black lines in between pieces?
Thanks!
I used to have SUPER POWERS.
But my therapist took them away. :vsad:

Got this from Primrose Ply yesterday, the vineer I did on the speaker came loose here and there, fixable, but I have spent so much time and effort that I didn't want it to spoil the look.  I removed most of the old vineer and will be sticking this on over the weekend. The black is actual wood inlay, makes it that little bit more authentic, I try and not cheat where I can
