Wanted: Janis Ian Breaking Silence on CD



I simply adore this musical effort by Janis (not only for its technical merits but also the actual music). Since my vinyl playback equipment is in storage I would love to get my hands on a copy of this album on CD. Its not available anywhere locally and I am not in a position to buy from abroad... so if anybody here got a copy that is not loved anymore please let me know.

A friend of mine heard my LP, he found one at Look and Listen in Fourways, a brilliant album, technically and musically.

ghostinthemachine, I could get this CD for you when placing my next order with Amazon.uk. I checked the site and the album is available for £13.61. Amazon allows one to specify different delivery addresses. Let me know if you are interested.

Not quite... with the age (date) one can determine what issue it is. Remaster, special edition, etc... there is one CD issue out which Janis oversaw the mastering of herself.

It varies depending on how many CDs you order, whether they come from different suppliers, etc. However, the average cost per CD is about 4UKP.
