New music needed

i am looking for some new Artists / Music and thought it might be easier to ask here first. After a long days work i like to sit in my easy chair and listen to Easy going / classical tunes. really enjoy accoustic guitar with a not to hectic or sometimes no backing at all with a bit of vocals thrown in sometimes. Piano is also nice but not something over the top rather light tinkering.

suggestions anyone ??

One of my favorites. Two UK guitarists, but they have gone through many iterations are Acoustic Alchemy. Smooth Jazzy type stuff.

well that my problem most of my music is older commercial type stuff , Clapton, dire straits etc. But i recently found a CD in one of those bargain bin boxes called Tranquility intrumental pieces and it has sparked a new interest in my listening so thats why im asking for suggestions.

Well, I have recently discovered Jeff Golub, jazz guitarist. Very good, smooth jazz playing. Of course there are other favourites like Peter White, Lee Ritenour etc.. Not to mention Jose Padilla...

I find myself looking for a lot of older stuff as the lyrics today don't make sense but then again the eighties was worse.  At least then you still had the likes of Dire Straits, Clapton,...  Interesting wonder how viable it is for musicians to make make a full length LP with downloads allowing you to choose one song. 

I look forward to buying equipment as the guys on the forum I meet always demo their music and it is always soemthing I never heard.

wow - i have that disc as well as one of its sister discs called Divinity - though you may not like divinity so much - it leans toward the indian instrumental type of thing ie sitar etc 

never imagined anyone else from here would come across it and actually like it

Nee man ek moet net keer of dit gaan beeter It's our raining seasion.....So most runways under water...1 of my MI-8 Choppers went technical today and the one Antenof 28 blew a engine So now we wont make deliveries...... But we will get there. Even if I have to make my Pilot fly the Aircraft with one engine No that wont happen

Yes.... Armik is a very nice music to have and relax with a nice Johnny Walker black Label, good friends and nice food... Jy sal nie spyt wees nie. Laat weet my as en waar jy die Cd's in die hande kry, ek wil nog so paar gaan koop.
